Northumbrian Water has gone out to tender with a contract for laboratory services worth up to £4.25 million.
The water company is looking to appoint up to three suppliers to the framework agreement which will run for five years – 3 years with an option to extend for a further 2 years
Estimated total value of purchases for the entire duration of the framework agreement is put at between 33 million to £4.25 million. Northumbrian Water said that based on historic prices and volumes, the contract values give a good indication of the expected scale of the contract.
The contract, which covers the supply of laboratory materials and chemicals for use in Northumbrian Water Laboratories is split into 3 Lots.
